KTM has updated
the 250 Duke with a full-LED headlamp and priced it at Rs 2.09 lakh
(ex-showroom). The new model now features a 390 Duke Style LED headlight
instead of the halogen unit.
Here, below is some of the best features available
in the KTM 250 Duke.
The changes are
limited to the addition of the new LED headlight at the front. The rest of the
styling cues remain unaltered, and the 2020 KTM 250 Duke is a naked street
fighter bike. It comes with a split-style step-up seat and an under-cowl. It
has a fully-digital instrument cluster, one-touch start, LED DRLs, LED
taillight and LED indicators.
Colors
The 250 Duke is
available in the same color options as before –
(i)
Dark Galvano and
(ii)
Silver Metallic.
Engine
The 250 Duke is
powered by a 248cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, linked to a six-speed
gearbox. This bike produces 29.5bhp at 9,000rpm and 24Nm at 7,500rpm. The
transmission benefits from an assist and a slipper clutch function.
Hardware
The suspension
duties on the motorcycle are handled by upside-down WP front forks and a
preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. Anchoring power comes from disc brakes at
both wheels while the safety-net includes a dual-channel ABS. The ABS tech
features a Super-moto mode that disengages the safety-net on the rear wheel.
Price
The new KTM 250 Duke
has been priced at Rs 2,09,280 (ex-showroom), which is higher by Rs 3,968 over
the previous model. If we would think to compare this bike against another
bike; then we can compare it with the new Suzuki Gixxer 250. But at the
end the winner is KTM 250 Duke.
